What Is Mild Reversal Of Cervical Lordosis

Autism: The autistic child

According to the DSM-IV and ICD 10 (international classification), the basic features for the diagnosis of autism are the presence of an abnormal or deficient development of social interaction, communication and a lack of significant ; repertoire of activities and interests.
More precisely:
1. Delay or abnormal functioning of the three specific areas (social interaction, language and behavior), have an onset within three years of age.
2. Qualitative impairment in social interaction, occurs when compromises are many nonverbal behaviors (eg, avoidance, denial of eye contact, stiff facial expression, inability to adapt the behavior to social context). When there is absence of imitative play and fiction, lack of interest in sharing the game. If the language is made to use at present is stereotyped, with inability to initiate or sustain a conversation with others.
3. Restriction in the repertoire of activities and interests. It shows a total dedication to one or more limited activity. Obsessive repetition of specific rituals or unnecessary habits. There is a rigid object manipulation that looks more to their particular characteristics rather than to use them.

Normally there are times when the development was normal, though sometimes parents report normal development during the first two years of life. Being able to make an early diagnosis is very important because the isolation is greater will be the worst prognosis. The problem is that very often parents fail to recognize the warning signs of the disease may already present from the beginning. In the first six months of a child's life can be found early alterations of the interaction, the child appears quiet, never cries, does not draw attention, there is no engagement of the gaze, is unable to relax into the arms of his mother, lacking the social smile (the first arranger), the suckling and sleep, with a kind of quiet sleep (when the child stays in bed in a wait motionless with eyes wide open)
In the second half of the first year they stabilize the characteristics listed above, thus affecting the relationship between mother - child (missing tonic dialogue, the vocals, the stuttering, facial expression expressive when they wake up, stretch out our arms is missing when it is lifted).
Within 30 months it becomes apparent lack of precursors of language, functional disorders persist and become more accentuated stereotyped mannerisms and gestures, which is usually at this point that the child is reported, that is when the trouble is clear and relatively stable .

Dna Hiv Test At 2 Month Conclusive

clinical description, historical overview

For the first time in 1911, Bleuler (Swiss psychiatrist) uses the term "autism" to refer to the core symptom of a specific illness, schizophrenia. This term is composed of two Greek words autos (self) and ISMOS (targeting) etymologically means "was addressed to himself," This term
the Swiss psychiatrist would indicate strong retreat into themselves, detachment from reality with absolute predominance of inner life. Cito
Bleuler:
"... the most serious schizophrenic no longer have any relationship with the environment, living in a world that belongs only to them. We are locked up, so to speak, with their deideri who imagine made, or suffering resulting from the persecution of which you believe autism victims ... We call this detachment from reality accompanied by relative or absolute supremacy of the inner life .... (Bleuler, 1911).
In 1943 Leo Kanner use the term autism to describe a syndrome spercifica related to childhood, which he called early infantile autism as distinct from mental impairment innate.
He considered pathognomonic clinical picture of this some typical behaviors:
-tendency to isolation with avoidance of interpersonal relationships
-impaired development of speech-
presence of stereotyped behaviors
-obsessive concern for the preservation of the immutability of the environment
While presenting this clinical picture, the children described by Kanner had good performance at the cognitive level in some specific fields (construction puzzle, memory of figures and poems), this was in sharp contrast with powertools developmental delay.
In 1944, the Austrian pediatrician Hans Aspenger described a disorder he called "autistic psychopathy" with features of early infantile autism comunni (Kanner). The children studied by
Aspenger had in common with those studied by Kanner, the following characteristics: social adaptation
1.difficoltà
2.marcata resistance to change
3.stereotipie motor and language
However, there were at least three important areas that worked differently in the two groups of children:
1. Language: Patients Aspenger of the speech was fluent, while those of Kanner or was not present or was used in a non-communicative
2. Configuration: in patients Aspenger were both fine motor difficulties in the complex, while those of Kanner had difficulty only in the motor complex.
3. ability to learn: Aspenger considered his patients in the "abstract thinkers," while Kanner's patients seemed to learn in a mechanical, almost automatic.

The autistic child

I found these words that I think give a good description of autistic disorder:
"I built walls, a fortress hard and steep that no one can fathom.
I do not need friends. L 'friendship causes pain. Contempt his laugh and his love, I am a rock, are an island. I have my books and poets to protect me. I lock myself in my armor, hiding in my room. Safe inside my belly, I do not touch anyone and no one touches me. I am a rock, is an island. A rock feels no pain, and an island never cries. (Paul Simon, "I am a rock").

I read the blog of a friend of mine (mammamodellobase.blogspot.com), which speaks clearly of children, tips for new moms and sharing of experiences, I do not know why but I was reminded autistic children .
therapy with a child wrapped in his world, it is difficult, frustrating the limit of patience, I guess as a mother must feel.
the next few days (weather permitting), will speak in detail from the point of autism psychodynamic (my address specialization). Needless to say, results in a psychotherapy with an autistic child is not only a source of pride for the psychotherapist, including improved quality of life of the patient.

Santa Claus exist??

eternal dilemma, to say or not say to their children that Santa Claus does not exist?
No, absolutely, yes if asked directly, dependent on age.
looks like a small thing, but to create a magical atmosphere around the child during the Christmas holidays, it is very important.
The child grows up with hope, imagine, fantastic dreams of the night when Santa Claus will bring you long for the toys.
The belief in Santa Claus, or in this beautiful fantasy story helps the child to grow positively, to hope always, gives him dreams ..... and it is not little!
hide the truth about Santa Claus does not mean to lie to their children.
If they request it, in a direct way, then he can speak, leaving a 'mystery, and to conceal the truth, the time will come when they will understand where your imagination will give way to reality, will follow the normal path of growth ...
